Japanese animation falling behind on story line

I actually enjoy Chinese story more recently but there are really good Jap mangas out there.

ye donghua is really coming out on top, japs not so heated since recently

because people will watch them anyway so why bother increase both quantity and quality when i can earn a fuck ton with current medicore quality

I just binge demon hunter, and I tell you that it's been a while that I watched 25 episodes and at the end wanted more.

There is literally NOTHING worst than Chinese story pacing and progress, writing and ideas. The majority of EVERY donghua is pure unadulterated garbage. They are almost ALL exactly alike.

Chinese animation has never caught up to Japanese animation, and it never will.

Mate I watched death note, ghost in the shell in its original time when they came out and they played with my head, felt amazing. I do not think any new Japanese anime has any effect like that to new anime Watcher. And Chinese anime are ok now and getting better. Not like when they started.

i noticed i watch way more chinese cgi anime than any japan or american production since the last two years or so. its impressive thinking how bad they are in directing or dubbing their live action drama or simple anime, they really step up with those anime in cgi i'm really glad :)

The Japanese OP Isekai harem anime trend is getting old.
I honestly never thought I would have enjoyed the Chinese or even any cgi anime this much, but the stories are really good and the characters aren't exaggerated (much).

Yup since 2018-19 ive been on donghua faithfully since they were coming out every week and when they take a break it's only for a short period so I started switching between anime and donghua since donghua had nowhere near the content it does now, especially this year which has exploded with new releases, and now i'm weekly watching while I let J-anime seasons finish then I'll watch them. However J-anime has been suspect with the biyearly and even longer releases and the good content is all saved for this time of year as you can see by the lineup and I haven't started any of them yet... My concern with donghua that as it becomes more and more famous that it will end up the same way J-anime is rn with the long waits between releases

Attack on Titan could have been a life long favorite too if the timing was right. And so here was the Naruto with the filler no jutsu.

lots of chinese anime are trash and almost 100% similar in similairty, however few chinese anime like swallowed star is awesome and that's enough for me, just need one or two awesome anime to watch instead of tons of trash medicore anime

Yeah someone should make a list of the good ones. Saying that you profile name really went down the drain. The last season I dropped it, it was unbearable to watch

back to the golden era it is awesome, but now japanese lacks so much in terms of animation and story line simply because they dont give a fuck and not care anymore which is a disappointment, when you have 80 90s japanese anime being so many times better than current japanese anime, however the technology difference between eras is like by LEAPS AND BOUNDS

CN Anime have a big advantage imo in having so many episodes.
JP anime with 12 or 24 episodes can only do so much

It's an easy remedy and hopefully they learn quickly before they are completely taken out. If CN can do it then JP can also.... Even netflix has got a leg up on them by releasing full seasons at once
